Beverly Gregg

Beverly was born on Sept. 20, 1938, in Oconto, Wis. to Leslie and Muriel (Freward) Gering Sr.

Beverly married Patrick Gregg on May 10, 1974. Beverly worked as an LPN for many years, beginning at Iron Mountain Hospital and finishing at Superior Shores Nursing Home.

Beverly and Pat had also owned Alger Falls Motel, Brownstone Inn and Christmas Sports Outlet. She loved to cook, bake, crochet and knit for family and friends. She was known for the best cinnamon rolls and onion rolls around. She also enjoyed bitching at her children, camping during the summer in the U.P. and spending winters in Florida.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Paula (Timothy) Haws of Saint George, Utah and Linda (Chris) Assiginack of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada; and six sons, Douglas (Valerie) Mellon of Menominee, Brian Mellon of Menominee, Scott (Karen) Mellon of Christmas, Dennis (Stacie) Mellon of Free Soil, Mich., Craig Mellon of Menominee, and Steve (Tammie) Gregg of Bluffton, Ind.; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Muriel; husband, Patrick; and grandsons, Scotty Mellon and Kyle Mellon; brother, Leslie Gering.

As per Beverly’s wishes, no services will be held.
