Donald J. Beyer

He was born May 30, 1945, in Kingsford, to James and Jean Wedin Beyer. After high school he moved to Port Washington, Wis. and then to the east side of Milwaukee. He worked for Telsmith of Milwaukee and enjoyed traveling the world repairing mine equipment.

Don was a kind and soft spoken man who enjoyed being with people. He enjoyed the many friendships he made at his local gathering spots and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his brother, Richard (Carol) Beyer; a nephew, Jim Beyer; niece, Ann (Andy) Orvis; great-niece, Kerry (Andrew) Yoder; and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mike Beyer; and his great-nephew, Justin Orvis.

Inurnment will be Saturday, June 10, at noon in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
