Susan Elizabeth Martin

Susan was born in Detroit on May 11, 1946, to James and Margaret Paterson. After a lifetime of living in the Detroit area, Susan recently retired from a long successful career at Ethan Allen and made the move to Iron Mountain to be near loved ones and enjoy the beauty of the Upper Peninsula.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Ben) Miller; brother, James Paterson; and sister, Cynthia (Bill) Ponikvar.

Susan will also be fondly remembered for her warmth and compassion by her many nieces and nephews, Andrew, Emily, Matt, Carrie, Alison, Richard, Eli and Emma.

“Sue” touched many lives beyond her immediate family and she will be greatly missed by all.
