1944-2025

Charlene ‘Sheri’ Cerasoli

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Charlene “Sheri” Cerasoli, 80, passed away Jan. 25, 2025, in her residence at The Springs of Scottsdale, Ariz. surrounded by loved ones and her two favorite Yorkie Poos.

While born in Green Bay, Wis. on March 31, 1944, she spent her life in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area, graduating from KHS in 1962, then working for the phone company before helping her late husband, Dick, at People’s Supermarket. She was a manager at the First National Bank until her retirement in 2008.

Sheri had the warmest of smiles and a relaxed way about her that made people feel at ease. She lived in a world where there were no strangers, just friends she hadn’t met yet. While she thrived in her various careers, being of service to others, she was content at home as part of a family dynamic that included Dick’s parents, Fritz and Nora Cerasoli, at its nucleus. She is at peace now, in the arms of her soulmate.

Sheri is survived by three siblings, Wayne DeMeuse, Marlene Ozzello, and Frank DeMeuse; children, Lisa Cerasoli, Lora Cerasoli, and Richard (Jennifer) Cerasoli; grandchildren, Jazz Weaver, and Jacob and Dean Cerasoli; and lots of nephews and nieces, whom she adored.

She is predeceased by her mother, Olive Bennett; her in-laws, Fritz and Nora Cerasoli; and her husband, Richard “Dick” Cerasoli.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer organization of your choice or St. Vincent De Paul.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain with a short remembrance at 5:30 p.m.
