Timothy Broden
VULCAN — Timothy Alan Broden, 65, of Vulcan, passed away at the place he loved the most “Camp Doghouse” on May 6, 2025.
He was born Feb. 10, 1960, in Norway, the son of Loryce (Oberthaler) and the late Arden Broden.
Tim graduated from Norway high school in 1978. After high school he worked for Norway Gravure, until he became a proud union man serving at Local #111 as a pipefitter for many years, until he retired.
Tim loved his daughters and they were his pride and joy, but his grandson soon stole the spot light by following in his footsteps joining the union and becoming a welder!
He was so proud to be able guide him and share stories as he was working in the same town and staying in the same hotel as he started his new journey as a welder. He loved being able to teach him the ropes!
His goal in life was to live at camp, “I’ve got to spend eight years living at camp, it I die tomorrow, I had a great life.” He loved Budweiser, hunting and fishing.
He was a man of few words the words and sayings were impactful and will be shared for years to come!
Tim is survived by his daughters, Kristin (Dan) Gendron and Amy (Evan) Sheedy; grandson, Gage Gendron; mother, Loryce Broden; sisters, LuAnn (Martin) Gallacher, Deborah (Mark) Rossato and Lynn (Jeff) Hewlett; brother, Bruce (Shelly) Broden; many nieces and nephews, that he loved dearly; many friends, but some that were near and dear to him: Greg Peterson, Danny Zanoni, Freddie Flink, and Beaver Hulce.
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held on Sunday, May 25 starting at 1 p.m. at the Labranche Tavern.
