Dennis Jensen

Dennis was born on Oct. 14, 1941, in Norway, to Edith (nee Erickson) and Harold Jensen. He attended Norway High School and graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in metallurgical engineering and later earned his P.E. license.

His career included work as a metallurgist at General Motors, International Harvester, and General Electric.

Dennis was dedicated to his community and others. He was active in his church and volunteered for many community groups including Boy Scouts and Big Brothers.

He was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed running, hiking with Elaine and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elaine Marie Jensen (nee Haelterman); daughter Leanne (Darryl); son, David (Yadira); grandchildren, Rafael (Rachel), Ginet, Emily (Sam), Nathaniel (Sarah), Emmanuel, Cristian; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Logan; sisters, Patricia (late Richard) Fogal, and Susan (Harold) Beazley.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 3 p.m. on June 19th at Grace Presbyterian Church in Hudson.
