Red Cross thanks businesses for Sagola support

Bouquets and Barbs

Bouquet: Your local Red Cross would like to thank the following area businesses for their generous donations that helped provide food, water, coffee and shelter to the volunteers who served the First Responders at the accident in Sagola on Monday. The Randville Bar and Grill suppled 12 pizzas and two cases of water, Krist Oil-Northside donated coffee, Binks Coca-Cola supplied water and Powerade and the BP in Sagola allowed shelter for the volunteers to serve the First Responders during intermittent rain showers. When a disaster strikes and local businesses pitch in, it makes the job of the Red Cross so much easier.

Appreciates how she’s treated at Daily News

Bouquet: I want to say thanks to three great ladies who work at The Daily News. They are Loni, Lori O. and, of course, my dear and special neighbor, Carrie.

They all make me feel very special. Always greet with a smile on their face and very friendly.

If I put an ad in the paper or get some candy bars, they are great. They always help me, even if I stop in just to say, “Hi.”

Loni and I go back 30 years to Dr. Brian dentist days. What a good time and great boss we had. Always had a flair for fashion — top to bottom, she always matches.

Lori O. has always helped me, also. Tries to look things up on her computer. Very friendly lady. Smiles always.

Lastly — my best neighbor — Carrie! She always is so down to earth and helps me, too, with a smile. My boys, Dale and Michael, keep her happy all the time. Like to keep her happy and smiling.

What great women. They all deserve a compliment — top-shelf and five-star women.
