Elliott named Michigan’s Miss Basketball
DETROIT (AP) — Gabrielle Elliott of Detroit Edison has been named Michigan’s Miss Basketball.
Elliott was given the award on Friday. The Mick McCabe Miss Basketball award honors the state’s top senior female player.
The 5-foot-10 Elliott has averaged 22.8 points, 9.1 rebounds 3.8 assists and 3.6 steals. East Lansing’s Aaliyah Nye was second and Whitney Sollom of Hartland was third.
