Krans takes MASTERS hillcross at Keyes Peak

FLORENCE, Wis. — Aurora’s Tony Krans swept every class at Saturday’s Wisconsin State Championship Hillcross at Keyes Peak.

Sanctioned by Mid America Snow & Terrain Expert Racers (MASTERS), Krans raced his Polaris to a second straight “Top Dog” title.

Krans qualified to represent MASTERS at this year’s world championship hillclimb in Jackson, Wyo.

In addition to a clean sweep in hillcross, Krans also won junior class during the hillclimb.

Krans started off with a win in the junior class, than took the trail stock and race stock feature.

Florence’s Blake Drewa captured the 120 stock final in hillcross and the kids 120 stock king in hillclimb.

Andrew Anderson of Aurora, racing a Polaris in the Wisconsin State Championship Hillcross, placed second in stock 600 and junior, and third in trail stock

Dominic Demuri of Florence (Arctic Cat) finished third in junior. Lincoln Drewa of Florence (Yamaha) was second in 120 mod.

In the Mid America Championship Hillclimb, Lincoln Drewa took third in 120 mod kids king.
