Softball: Coleman clips Niagara
COLEMAN, Wis. — Cameron Compe led Coleman past Niagara 12-2 in a six-inning M&O Conference softball game Tuesday.
Compe pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and three walks. She also helped her cause with three hits.
Cougars’ Mikey Zietler hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning and also doubled.
Niagara pitcher Noelle Champagne permitted 10 hits and struck out five. Destiny Bourassa provided a double.
The Badgers (0-2 M&O) host Norway on Thursday.
