NIAGARA, Wis. — In Marinette-Oconto Conference volleyball action at Niagara on Tuesday the Lady Badgers fell to Gillett in five highly-contested sets, 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 20-25, 13-15.

“My team came out strong tonight against Gillett in set one,” said Niagara head coach Carol St. Arnauld. ” We lost a little momentum in set two and came back and won set three, only to lose the next two sets. We need to continue to transition off the net and set up our hitters.

“We know that we can do better than what we did tonight. We let this one get away from us. We need to learn the lesson and move forward because this team has the potential to do so,” she said.

The Badgers head to Crivitz on Thursday, before returning home to host Suring, both M & O Conference foes.
