Niagara Lions golf outing seeking teams

NORWAY TOWNSHIP — The Niagara Lions are seeking golfers for their annual four-person scramble golf tournament which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Oak Crest Golf Course in Norway. The fun 18-hole tournament will get underway with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. and is open to men’s, women’s, or mixed teams.

Teams may be entered or individuals may sign up and be assigned to a team. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams and many raffle prizes will be presented to participants. Cost is $30 for Oak Crest members and $60 for non-members.

The entry fee includes a golf cart, prizes, and a chicken and spaghetti dinner.

Proceeds from the event will go to help financially support various Lions Club service and humanitarian endeavors in the Niagara community.

Niagara Lion Mark Zenko is serving as tournament chairman. Entries should be in by Sept. 16 and sent to Zenko at 53 Washington Ave., Niagara, WI 54151. Checks should be made out to the Niagara Lions Club.
