Goodman-Pembine boys draw a No. 4 seed in WIAA Division 5 Sectional
PEMBINE, Wis. — With their 78-69 win over Florence in Saturday night’s WIAA Division 5 Regional championship game, Goodman-Pembine’s boys basketball team advanced to the WIAA Sectional No. 2 semifinal round. A seeding meeting took place Sunday afternoon and the Patriots drew a No. 4 seed in their four-team sectional.
Goodman-Pembine and head coach Joe Nutt will travel to No. 1 seed Green Bay N.E.W Lutheran on Thursday, with a 7 p.m. tip off scheduled. In the other semi final game, No, 3 seed Gresham will travel to face No. 2 seed Prentice. A preview of Thursday’s game and the Sectional, in general, will be published later in the week.
