Bobcats roll into WIAA Division 4 sectional with 10-0 win

With the victory, the Bobcats advanced to the sectional round where they lost to second-seeded St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 4-3 on Thursday in Marinette.
On Wednesday against Bowler, Florence plated two runs in the bottom of the first when Carson Chrisman drew a bases-loaded walk and Breyson Kelly drove in a run after being hit by a pitch.
The Bobcats then blew the game open in the second. Kade Larson added an RBI single and Chrisman drove in a run with a groundout in the decisive frame.
Carter Reed followed with a solo inside-the-park homer to right field in the third.

Trent McClain started and notched the win for Florence, pitching two innings and striking out five.
Mason Koski kept things going with a two-inning stint in which he walked one and fanned four.
Larson mopped up with a scoreless fifth, allowing a walk while striking out one.
Chrisman and Kelley drove in two runs each for the winners.
In its first two games of the postseason, the Bobcats have outscored their opposition 24-0.
The Cavaliers advanced with a 4-3 victory over seventh-seeded Niagara on Wednesday.
