NIAGARA, Wis. — Former WNBA All-Star, University of Nebraska and Niagara Lady Badgers standout Anna DeForge will make her return to her alma mater next month.

DeForge will be the guest speaker at the upcoming 2025 Jamie Angeli’s Basketball Camp of Champs at Niagara Public Schools. The Niagara site will be the host for boys and girls grades 3 to 8 July 21-24.

DeForge, a 1994 graduate, was a two-sport standout at Niagara in volleyball and basketball. She will speak to campers on Wednesday, July 23. The two-time WNBA All-Star and two-time first team Big 10 selection will speak to the morning session campers at 12:30 p.m. and then to the afternoon session campers at 2 p.m.

DeForge’s 2,601 career points at Niagara topped the WIAA girls basketball scoring list from 1994 until it was surpassed in 2018. She currently sits sixth on the WIAA all-time scoring list.

Having played for multiple WNBA teams, including the Detroit Shock and Indiana Fever, DeForge’s professional career also took her overseas playing in multiple countries such as Turkey.
