ESCANABA — After finishing the 2025 regular season with her stat line, it was no surprise that Escanaba softball senior Grayson LaMarche was named Player of the Year in the Great Northern Conference.

In regular season play she was 21-2, allowing nine earned runs with 15 walks to 274 strikeouts with a .512 ERA across 123 innings. Entering today’s regional round she possesses an ERA of 0.30 with 305 strikeouts.

LaMarche, who will take her talents to the University of Michigan beginning next season, is the program’s all-time strikeout leader with 838.

Gladstone senior Lauren Sundquist earned Offensive Player of the Year honors. The MIT recruit currently owns a .649 batting average, an OPS of 1.803 with 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and has 11 walks to five strikeouts in 114 at bats.
