IRON MOUNTAIN — Gladstone will face Escanaba at 5:30 p.m. today at Iron Mountain’s North Side Field to decide the District 10 Little League Majors (ages 11-12) softball championship.

Gladstone, which opened its tournament with a 1-0 win over Escanaba, defeated Kingsford to advance to the title game.

After its defeat Saturday, Escanaba advanced through the loser’s bracket with a win over Norway on Saturday, and then downed Iron Mountain and Kingsford on Sunday.

Kingsford defeated Norway and Iron Mountain before falling to Gladstone and then Escanaba.

A win by Escanaba today would force a final championship game Tuesday.
