Niagara’s Neuens, Buchanan saluted
NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara senior Gavin Neuens and freshman Remington Buchanan were honored by the Marinette and Oconto Conference in a recent vote by the league coaches.
Neuens was picked to the all-conference second team and Buchanan was given honorable mention.
The league’s first team included Lena senior Tyler Shallow and junior Colt Miller, Coleman juniors Cole Berth, Brady Dufeck and Gavin Pusick and sophomore Wyatt Bieber, Crivitz senior Logan Marvin, junior Pierce Polomis and freshman Colton Arpke, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy senior Teagan Anderson and Wausaukee freshman Hank Nuetzel.
Joining Neuens on the second team were Coleman senior Tyler Rennie, junior Miles Lewis and sophomore Kollin Peters, Crivitz junior Jackson Schramm, Gillett/Suring junior Parker Haak, Lena seniors Dane Comins, Mason Spice and Caleb Schlosser, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy sophomore Jake Farley and Wausaukee senior Luke Smith.
Players also given honorable mention were Coleman junior Matt Tedtman, Crivitz junior Tyler Wene, Gillett/Suring senior Mikey Pecanus, Lena freshman Isaac Peterson, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy sophomore Hunter Brief and Wausaukee senior Kayden Suennen.
Lena’s Shallow was named the conference player of the year.
