Escanaba will host District 10 Little League softball action for ages 8-10 this week, joined by Kingsford, Gladstone and Norway vying for a berth in the state tournament.

The opener at 5 p.m. Eastern time today at Lemerand Park has Kingsford facing Gladstone. That will be followed at 7 p.m. by Norway vs. Escanaba.

The championship in the double-elimination tournament will be decided Thursday.

The state tournament opener in Cheboygan is Friday, July 18
