Benchrest shooter
John Anderson, who shoots out of Normenco Sportsman Club in Powers, competed at the Michigan Benchrest Championship in Holton. Anderson shot the smallest five-shot group at 100 yards. All five of Anderson’s rifle shots measured .064 of an inch bigger than one shot – meaning that to the naked eye, it looked like all five shots were in one hole. Anderson will compete in the United States National Benchrest event in September.
