Michigan DNR to discuss bear goals

MARQUETTE – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will host a bear forum Saturday, Dec. 7, in St. Ignace.

The purpose is to discuss bear management and regulations for the 2020-2021 regulation cycle, while assessing 2019 harvest statistics. The forum will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time at Little Bear East Arena, 275 Marquette St., St. Ignace. All are welcome to attend.

DNR staffers also will be available after the meeting to answer additional questions.
