Civil Air Patrol Squadron MI-201 is taking part in a rocketry program to earn a badge for their uniform. Cadets received classroom lessons that prepared them to build their own rockets before participating in a rocket launch event Saturday that allowed for two successful runs. Some of the cadets involved in the rocketry program said they think it will help them in their knowledge of science, plus it’s super fun and enjoyable. Others described the experience as interesting and challenging.
