EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods will have its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Olson Library in Eagle River.

After a brief business meeting, Arlene Vlies of Pelican Lake will present an interesting program on how antique and vintage dolls fit into historical events.

Vlies entitles her program Oh, If I Could Speak. She will address dolls as silent witnesses to important historical events down through the ages.
