FLORENCE, Wis. -- The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will again sponsor a Welcome to Medicare workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, at the Florence County Courthouse, large conference room on the second floor.
Janice Jonet, Florence County Elder Benefits Specialist, will present a PowerPoint that will help to explain what to expect when turning 65 or receiving Medicare due to a disability, regarding your Healthcare needs and Medicare benefits.
The workshop is ideal for people who will be turning 65 in the upcoming months as well as anyone that will be newly eligible for Medicare. It will also be very helpful to any Medicare beneficiary who has questions or concerns regarding complicated Medicare options and benefits.
This workshop is free and open to the public, but reservations are encouraged. Attendees can pre-register by calling the ADRC of Florence County at 715-528-4890 or 1-855-528-2372.
