Geology club meets April 24
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center, 5638 Forestry Drive in Florence, Wis.
Follow the DMV signs to reach the center. Coffee and snacks will be served and people of all ages are welcome. Door prizes are drawn at the close of all meetings.
This month’s presentation will be given by club member John Gilner, sharing the knowledge he acquired over the years as an artifact collector. Gilner will talk about and show how to find and identify artifacts.
