NIAGARA, Wis. -- Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates and the Niagara Health Center are celebrating 20 years of serving residents of Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a spokesman said.
Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates and the Niagara Health Center were founded by Dr. Vijay Singh, the medical director of both entities. The Niagara Health Center was the first single-specialty ambulatory surgery center dedicated to pain management in Wisconsin.
"We are so proud to be a part of the community as a health care provider and employer. Twenty years is an accomplishment and a testament to the high level of service and expertise that our clinic provides. People are still surprised by the scope of our practice. We have three practicing physicians and more than 30 clinical and non-clinical employees at our Niagara clinic," said Daniel Freeman, public relations coordinator at Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates.
Dr. Singh began practicing in 1989, and was a pioneer in the medical specialty of interventional pain management. He spent many hours advancing the field of pain management through research, publications, and his role as a founder of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, where he currently holds a lifetime position on the board of directors.
Using advanced training and technology, the physicians at Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates diagnose pain and treat it with outpatient, minimally invasive procedures that are covered by most insurance plans. The team also includes a dedicated nursing and administrative staff.
The Niagara Health Center is where most procedures are performed, and it is accredited by the Joint Commission.
Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates has satellite offices in Escanaba, Iron River, and in the greater Milwaukee area.
