CRYSTAL FALLS -- Rise UP Indivisible Iron County will take part in a National Day of Action protest against the proposed federal tax overhaul plan Monday in downtown Crystal Falls.
The demonstration will be 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the corner of U.S. 2 and M-69, near the Iron County Courthouse.
The National Indivisible organization, a political action group, objects to the tax plan being considered in the U.S. Senate. Rise UP Indivisible Iron County members and others will hold signs addressing aspects of the tax plan -- the winners and the losers.
The public is welcome to attend or participate.
