MARQUETTE -- The Norway High School team will take on Marquette in the second round of Public TV 13's High School Bowl competition, scheduled to air Jan. 12.
Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin field teams for the tournament, now celebrating 41 years on the air.
The Norway Knights won in the first round 210-80 against the Carney-Nadeau Wolves. That match was broadcast Nov. 17.
Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on Public TV 13 at 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon Mondays, both Eastern times. For more information on the 2018-2019 tournament, go to wnmutv.nmu.edu.
