KINGSFORD -- An employee at Great American Environmental Services had minor burns from a truck fire Saturday morning at the 1005 East Blvd. business.
Kingsford Public Safety Department officers were called at 8:30 a.m. to extinguish a Ford utility truck engulfed in flames. The fire was contained to the truck and no other property was damaged, KPS said in a news release.
The injured employee sought his own medical treatment. Integrity Care EMS was on standby and the Iron Mountain Police Department and company employees assisted. Officers cleared the site at 9:35 a.m.
