BELOIT, Wis. -- Beloit College junior forward Tristan Shoup became the 22nd men’s basketball player in program history to join the 1,000 point club with nine points in the first half Friday.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Shoup, son of Forest Park grad Jerry Shoup, added 12 second half points bringing his game total to 21 and moving him into 12th on the all-time scorer’s list for Beloit College. He also had 12 rebounds.
Beloit came back from a five-point halftime deficit to top Knox College 58-42 on the road.
