IRON MOUNTAIN -- Boundary Waters Musky Club will hold its ninth annual Expo from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Antoine Banquet Room at Recreation Lanes, 1555 N. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.

The event will feature prize drawings, tackle sales and swaps, and presentations by guest speakers. The public is welcome.

This year's lineup includes:

-- Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Biologist Darren Kramer at 1 p.m., updates on muskellunge management in Upper Michigan and future initiatives.

-- Benji Wood, club vice president, at 2 p.m., updates on muskellunge management in northeast Wisconsin and an overview of the club.

-- Captain Jeff Van Remortel at 3 p.m., incredible video footage and photos of musky encounters.

-- Steve Heiting, at 4 p.m. "Make it Great" is the title of Heiting's seminar, in which he will discuss how anglers have more control over their fishing success than they may realize.

"Steve and Jeff are big names in the musky fishing world," Wood noted. "It's exciting to bring two featured speakers to Iron Mountain that headline seminars at national musky shows in places like Chicago and Milwaukee."

An annual membership to the Boundary Waters Musky Club is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family.
