Badgers golfers compete at Hunters Glen, Whistling Straits

CRIVITZ, Wis. -- Niagara's golf team competed in a Marinette-Oconto Conference nine-hole event hosted by Wausaukee, that took place at Hunter Glen Golf Course in Crivitz. The Badgers finished in seventh place in the Monday event with a score of 276.
Coleman, with a meet-low 203, took the team title, with St. Thomas Aquinas Academy as runner up with a 210.
STAA Kayden Bailey was medalist with a meet-low -1 under par 35. Mason Simonson of Lena shot a 43 as runner up.
Niagara's Nate Olson was team-low with a 63; next was Ava Newingham with a 65, followed by Oren Loukus with a 71. Hunter French's 77 and Gavin Holdaway with an 81 rounded out the Badgers' lineup for the day.
Niagara returns to action Thursday in the St. Thomas Aquinas Invitational at the Riverside Country Club in Menominee.
