LANSING — Legislation proposed by an Upper Peninsula lawmaker to allow Michigan archery hunters to carry a pistol for personal protection while in the woods has passed the Michigan House. “The passage of my bill supports law-abiding citizens who value our outdoor heritage and expect common-sense protections in the field,” said state Rep.
