Uphill truck drags slated March 8 at Keyes Peak

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Keyes Peak Uphill Truck Drags are scheduled for Saturday, March 8. The annual side by side racing event grows more popular each year, organizers said. All types of modified trucks will race up snowy slopes to the finish line at the top of Keyes Peak off Highway 101 in Florence, Wis. Gates open at 8 a.m. and racing starts at 10 a.m. The event now has seven truck classes. Admission is $10 and free for ages 12 and younger. Food and beverages are sold on site, with no carry-ins.
