Walking tour of Florence historic buildings Tuesday
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Historical Society will host a guided walk Tuesday featuring some of the 37 historic places listed in its “Historical Florence Walking Tour” guidebook. Participants should meet at 6 p.m. at the museum on the corner of 201 Florence Ave. and U.S. 2. The walk is a little more than a mile, with a midway stop for rest and refreshments at the Encore on Central. There is no charge for the guided walk; however, donations are always appreciated. The guidebook will be available for purchase for the nominal cost of $5.
