AURORA, Wis. — A smear tournament is planned today at the C&R Bar in Aurora to benefit the Aurora Centennial Celebration.

Registration will be from 3 to 3:45 p.m. with the tournament starting at 4 p.m.

Fee is $10 per person. There is a 60 team limit.

Food will be available for purchase. There will also be a bake sale and 50/50.

The Aurora 100-year Historical DVD will be available for purchase and drawing tickets for a $5,000 first prize.

The Aurora Centennial celebration will be held June 30 and July 1 at the Aurora Ball Park. Buttons are on sale at various business in Aurora, Florence, Niagara, Kingsford and Iron Mountain.
