KINGSFORD — Joseph and Carmeline (Ganga) Ivacko of Kingsford recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

They were united in marriage on Aug. 28, 1948, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain.

The couple made their home in Kingsford, where they raised three children, Jon (Linda) Ivacko, Jim Ivacko and Carol (Dale) Larson.

They also have six grandchildren, Joe, Felicia, Brian, Caroline, Carlene and Abby; and 10 great-grandchildren, Auna, James, Grace, Keith, Kaylee, Brianna, Madeline, Avalyn, Collin and Courtney.

Joe and Carm met and both retired from Clairmont Transfer Company.

A celebration of their love and commitment took place with family in Pembine at their son Jim’s home.
