Rose and John Zahn

FAITHORN — John and Rose Zahn of Faithorn will celebrate their 76th wedding anniversary Monday.

They were married on Nov. 12, 1942, in North Judson, Ind., two weeks before John joined the Army and served in World War II. Standing for the couple were John’s cousin, Roy Arndt, and Rosie’s sister, Polly Comeno.

John is a retired logger and Rose worked at Les Brown Chair Factory in Hermansville and is a homemaker.

They have four children, Barb Thiry of Carney, Ed Zahn of Norway, Pat (Gary) Bryant of Faithorn and the late John Jr. of Hermansville. They have many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends congratulate them on this very special occasion.
