Holly DeGroot, owner of Bijou Lovely in downtown Iron Mountain, will be the guest speaker when the Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs meets at noon Friday at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

IRON MOUNTAIN — Holly DeGroot will be the featured speaker at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs meeting that starts with a luncheon at noon Friday at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

DeGroot owns Bijou Lovely, a new business in downtown Iron Mountain. She will share information and techniques on quilting, sewing, embroidery, crafts and photography. She also will show many examples of beautiful projects and discuss the classes that are offered and taught in the store.

Vintage jewelry will be sold at the meeting.

In addition, the ways and means committee will have food items for sale.

Money will be collected for the local food pantry.

The luncheon menu will include baked ham with cheese sauce, au gratin potatoes, broccoli and dinner rolls. The alternate meal is a chef salad. Coffee and cookies also will be served. Cost is $15, all inclusive.
