Residents at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers celebrated Mardi Gras with gusto on Fat Tuesday this week as they donned masks, beads and hats with lots of feathers. The meals throughout the day, as well as the party in the afternoon, reflected the celebration. Residents enjoyed paczkis to hushpuppies and everything in between. In true New Orleans fashion, “they let the good times roll.” Participating in the celebration are Merrilee Miller and Helen Derioun.
