Due to the pandemic, the family dinner party has been postponed.

The couple was married July 15, 1950, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Gaastra.

Lifelong residents of the Upper Peninsula, Ed and Liz both retired from AT&T in Marquette. They returned to the Iron County area where both were born and raised.

They have enjoyed their retirement traveling with their camper trailer to all of the lower 48 states as well as Alaska. In later years, the couple has enjoyed spending time at their home with family and friends.

The Petroffs have three children, Beth (Pete) Meli of Negaunee, Peggy (Tony) Nardi of Ishpeming and Ed Jr. of Laurium. They have four granddaughters and four grandsons; and 13 great-grandchildren.
