CRYSTAL FALLS — The curtain will soon rise on a new season of professional musical entertainment at Crystal Theatre. Taking the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 10, is a premier touring tribute band showcasing the songs that made Linda Ronstadt famous.

The Linda Ronstadt Experience featuring Tristan McIntosh, a 2016 American Idol finalist, brings the music of the popular singer of the ’70s and ’80s into the 21st century.

Ronstadt could cover a wide range of musical bases, from folk and rock to opera, Latin and jazz.

McIntosh soars through Ronstadt’s smash hits “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “That’ll Be the Day,” and “Blue Bayou.”

The repertoire of McIntosh and the tribute band spans Ronstadt’s early days with the Stone Ponys, through the decades she helped forge the “country-rock sound”and bridged the “New Wave sound” into huge hits from her 10th album “Mad Love.” The explosive show includes classic renditions of songs by The Eagles, Jackson Brown, Warren Zevon, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and other contemporaries of her era.

As she can no longer perform due to Parkinson’s disease, The Linda Ronstadt Experience is excited to help keep her legacy alive by sharing the joy and beauty of her repertoire to a wide audience.

“Music is meant to lighten your load. By singing it, you release the sadness and release yourself,” Ronstadt said.
