Local Entertainment — Hodag Battle of the Bands on Sunday

IRON MOUNTAIN — The 2024 Hodag Battle of the Bands competition will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Four Seasons Resort in Pembine, Wis.

The event is sponsored by the Frog Country 101.5 and the Four Seasons. The winner will perform at the Hodag Country Music Festival in Rhinelander, Wis.

On Friday, Todd Wangerin of the local area performs acoustic variety music from 6 to 9 p.m.

Frank’s Dinner Theatre Tribute Show will be presented at 6 p.m. Saturday. Also Saturday, local rock band Govern plays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Oddfellows, Iron Mountain — Today, The Make Believe Spurs of the local area (acoustic variety music), starting at 6 p.m.

Venue 906, Kingsford — Today, Norton & Charter of the local area (variety acoustic music), doors open at 5 p.m., with music to start at 6 p.m.

Sunday — Bob Larson of the local area (variety acoustic music), 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Big 10 Sport Bar, Quinnesec — Today, Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), starting at 8 p.m.

Island Resort & Casino, Harris — Today through Saturday, Marshall Star Band of Eau Claire, Wis. (variety country music), 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Round 2, Iron Mountain (formerly the Blind Pig) — Friday, Karaoke with MorningStar Entertainment (variety music), starting at 10:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 22 — Melanie Rose of the local area (acoustic variety music) at 7 p.m.

Pine Grove Bar, Republic — Friday, Ethan Bott of the Marquette area (variety country music), 8 to 11 p.m. Eastern time.

Saturday — Nolium of Ironwood (’90s classic rock music), 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time.

Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort, Iron Mountain — Friday and Saturday, the Midwest Comedy Tour featuring Austin Robertson and Becky Thompson with special guest Gary Campbell, starting at 7:30 p.m. Ticket sare $20.

The Maxx Entertainment Center, Iron Mountain — Saturday, rock music starting at 4 p.m. with live jams, followed by The Dave’s Not Here Man Band, No Exceptions of the Marquette area, Left of Center of the Upper Peninsula and Spun of the Marquette area.

Tuesdays — Open jam night from 4 to 9 p.m.

Wild Horse Saloon, Iron Mountain — Saturday, Morning Star Karaoke (variety music), 9 p.m.

Every day, rock/country music videos jukebox, played on six big-screen TVs.

Polly’s, Iron Mountain — Wednesdays, Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), starting at 8 p.m.
