Jim is a 1966 graduate of Kingsford High School and Pam is a 1971 graduate of Felch High School who met through mutual friends.

They were married on Saturday, June 17, 1972, at Zion Lutheran Church in Metropolitan, followed by a reception at the VFW hall at Norway Lake.

They were blessed with two of their own children, Jaime (Jered) Lippens of Escanaba and Jeffrey (McKenzie Jacobsen) Miller of Felch, and three grandchildren, Tregan, Kedria and Zadien Lippens, but are very close to many other nieces, nephews, godchildren and other children they have had a hand in raising.

Jim retired after working many years at LoDal, Inc. and Loadmaster. Pam retired after providing child care for numerous children.

Together they love spending time with family and friends, spending time at their camp, gardening and going for long (and slow) rides together while taking pictures — so many pictures– of the scenery and counting deer — so many deer.
