Whitney Elizabeth Pascoe and Bradley Paul Nurmela, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., announce their engagement. Whitney is the daughter of Craig and Susan Pascoe of Marquette and Brad is the son of Donald and Marsha Nurmela of Kingsford. The bride-to-be graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is teaching fifth grade at Woodside Elementary School. The future groom graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is the mill manager of Billerud Americas, Wisconsin Rapids Finishing and Converting Mill. A Dec. 17 wedding is planned.
