IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford branch of the American Association of University Women will accept donations of new and gently used books Monday, Nov. 14, through Friday, Nov. 18.

The collection is in preparation of the annual AAUW Book Sale that will take place April 20-22 at the Midtown Mall in Iron Mountain.

Books may be dropped off at Moose Jackson Cafe in Iron Mountain, The Bakery Shop in Iron Mountain, Iron Mountain-Kingsford Credit Union in Kingsford and Pat’s Foods in Norway.

AAUW will accept most books in good condition, except encyclopedias or textbooks.

Proceeds from the book sale are used each year as a primary source for the scholarships provided to area high school senior women and women older than 22 returning to college.
