Katherine Erickson and Elliot Johnson are pleased to announce their engagement. Katherine is the daughter of Anthony and Laddavone Erickson of Kingsford. Her grandparents are Paphanh and Pamee Bounsoy of Vientiane, Laos; and Kevin and Tina Whaley of Iron Mountain. She is currently attending Haverford College near Philadelphia, pursuing a degree in English and education. Elliot is the son of Eric and Rachel Johnson of Iron Mountain. His grandparents are Michael and Caryn Johnson of Iron River and William and Sharon Brandner of Lowell, Mich. He is currently attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. He is also in the Navy ROTC program at Marquette University. A summer 2023 wedding in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area is planned, for the couple. They both graduated from Kingsford High School in 2021 and dearly love the area.
