Robert and Ruth Truscott of Iron Mountain joyfully announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Truscott, to Cole Barnhart, son of Matt and Kristin Barnhart of Algonac, Mich. Olivia is a 2016 graduate of Iron Mountain High School and attended Michigan State University, majoring in human biology. Cole is a 2016 graduate of Roscommon High School and attended Ferris State University, majoring in vision sciences. Both Olivia and Cole graduated with their doctorate degrees from the Michigan College of Optometry in May 2023. Olivia is employed by Aurora Health Center in Two Rivers, Wis., and Cole is employed by Shopko Optometry in Manitowoc, Wis. Their wedding will be celebrated at the Sonshine Barn Wedding and Event Center in Gaylord on Aug. 12.
