ESCANABA -- Bay College has announced a night of music and fun as local band Sit Down Francis performs live at 7 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday on the Besse Center Stage.
This local hardcore alternative folk band -- comprised of musicians Jaimee Tourangeau, Stephen Braun, Jered Lippens, Zach Ericksen and Beau Miller -- promises an evening of music that seamlessly blends rock energy with alternative folk vibes.
Known for their entertaining stage presence and unique fusion, Sit Down Francis boasts about 30 recorded songs, including hits like "Merry Me," "Glen's Den," and "Hello Goodbye." Their albums, "Lighten UP" (2023) and "About Time" (2020) showcase the band's versatility and help strengthen their strong fan base.
Tickets are $10 for the public and $5 for students and employees. Tickets can be purchased online at www.baycollege.tix.com, over the phone at 906-217-4045 or in person at the box office, located in the Besse Center on the Escanaba campus.
