CRYSTAL FALLS — The R.E.M. tribute band Dead Letter Office will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Crystal Theatre in Crystal Falls.

Dead Letter Office have dedicated themselves to faithfully reproducing the music and energy of a live R.E.M. show. Since 2014, Dead Letter Office has been thrilling audiences throughout the U.S. and Canada, providing a show that’s been missed since R.E.M called it quits.

The band, based out of western New York, includes Chris Sanchirico on lead vocals; Matt King, electric guitars, mandolin; Chuck Eaton, bass guitar, backing vocals; Dave Shahin, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar, backing vocals; and Scott Ryan, drums, backing vocals.

Dead Letter Office not only performs R.E.M.’s major hits but also dives deep into their catalog to please the diehard fans. They’re the only R.E.M. tribute band to have members of R.E.M. perform with them — Mike Mills joining them on stage in Buffalo, N.Y., and Peter Buck joining them on stage at Clusterfest in San Francisco.

General admission tickets are $23 for adults and $5 for students with ID.
